The readers have spoken and the Travel Photo of the Year contestants received a total of
over 5000 votes!
With over 600 votes, the winner is… Heather Atkins! Heather’s blog is a collection of literary and photographic adventurers.
Read Heather’s About page here:
A majority of travel review websites repudiate my lengthly entries that offer a valuable in-depth look at the cultural observances, and essential tips necessary to make for a smooth transition into a foreign environment. Many of my readers have suggested that I post these rejected reviews in blog form on an external website.. ergo this very page that now stands before you.
Here you will eventually find a collection of literary and photographic adjuncts to my butchered travel reviews. You are also welcome to visit travelpost to see my collection of critiques, as I prefer using their superior website above all others. I speak candidly in regard to my observations, so I invite you to do the same should you be so kind as to comment after reading. Many thanks for stopping by.
God Bless,
Heather C.J. Atkins

YAY!!! I’m so glad everyone appreciated my photo. This moment was one of the highlights of our safari. The cub was so playful hiding behind rocks and jumping out to scare mother. Such an honor.
This one deserves the win.. congratulations
This is beautiful! Reminds me of The Lion King… now, The Circle of Life is stuck in my head.
