2013 Bucket List

Exploring Fiji, piloting a helicopter, airplane, glider, jet pack, and biplane, swimming with beluga whales and whale sharks, planning bucket list adventures for others, reaching 10 million blog views, and delivering a beautiful baby sound like a lifetime of accomplishments  but they were just part of my 2012 Bucket List. The more unrealistic I am with my dreams and goals, the more I am able to achieve so I’ve created another list for 2013 with equally beautiful dreams.  Some people create a bucket list because they are dying; I created one because I want to live.

Don’t forget to vote for me in the Biggest Baddest Bucket List Contest at http://www.mydestination.com/users/lesley/bbb#tab. It will certainly help advance my 2013 list. Winning could allow me to complete my 2013 list in 6 months!

  2. Lesley, I am so proud of your accomplishments and look forward to following your amazing adventures in 2013. You inspire me to go, do, live, and share my blessings with others. My prayer is that 2013 brings more blessings and opportunities than a person can imagine. If you find yourself in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, contact me! For the second year in a row, and with some inspiration from wonderful people like YOU, I’ve made another list of resolutions: http://nicoleandkevin.wordpress.com/2013/01/01/2013-resolutions/

p.s. Enjoy Washington, DC. I was there for the first time in June 2012 and LOVED it. Here are a few tips and posts from my trip. The museums, monuments, and food were amazing! http://nicoleandkevin.wordpress.com/?s=washington

  5. Wow that is some list. I’ve only done #19 and that was totally by accident. We were driving and got lost and looked up and said oh Wow there’s the White House. We were shocked b/c of the neighborhood. Very interesting. Making think of creating a list.

  6. Nice list! I don’t know if Vermont would be a new state for you, but a visit to the Burlington area and Shelburne Farms would knock off cow milking and the corn maze! Plus, you could add Touring the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream factory. :) can you tell I’m a Vermont fan??

    Good luck!!

    • Shelburne Farms gets a firm second from me. Gorgeous green pastures, adorable goats + chickens + cows, watch people make cheese… yeah. Definitely great.

  7. Great bucket list!! It was fun to read along and check things off that I have already done (they were a lot of the simpler things, of course!). You have a great 2013 ahead of you!! Happy New Year’s to you!

  8. Wow you exhaust me. Good luck, I think I may put one of these together….first thing is to sell 5000 copies of my new novel. It is released in March.

  9. Holy Moly, that is one heck of a great list. I have only a couple of things
    1. finish my novel – currently in the final stages of editing
    2. publish the novel
    3. move back to the UK
    4. have more fun

much luck with yours, I shall enjoy reading and following your progress :)

  10. I didn’t have to go far to click the ‘like’ button. First thing I read. I barely made it to 22 and began feeling all sorts of motivation. Thank you!
Cheers to living year as if it were our last.

  11. Hello Lesley! I would like to wish my favorite blogger a Happy New Year. I pray God will continue to bless you with good health and strength and the desire to do what you love doing. Leslie, you have been an inspiration to many and certainly to me. God blesses.

  12. I wish you all the best for your goals in 2013 after reading yours I need to add to my list. However I will leave you to skydiving (not no way I’m jumping out of an airplane unless it’s on the ground)
