Just Can’t Wait for My Jordan Journey

Jerash, Amman, desert castles, Karak, Madaba, Mount Nebo, Ma’In Hot Springs, Dana Biosphere Reserve, Wadi Rum, Aquaba, the Dead Sea, and the Red Sea were all part of my Jordan journey. It will take several days and maybe even weeks of posting to cover all of my amazing experiences and give you a proper tour of Jordan. Then, I started blogging. It was the accumulation of all of my dreams come true.

For the last two months, I’ve been posting about The Biggest, Baddest Bucket List contest; after all, no contest exists that is more fitting for Bucket List Publications. Following my dreams of traveling and experiencing life to the fullest has taught me that the world is full of endless possibilities and Bucket List Publications is the accumulation of all of my wildest dreams come true. The Biggest Baddest Bucket List contest, though, is like my bucket list on steroids. Daily I think about my greatest desires. What if we lived a life without restrictions? With unlimited funds, time, resources…. What would you do tomorrow? How would you spend your day? That’s how I try to spend each day. I find out what I want the most and figure out how to make it happen. That’s what life is all about. We are all capable.

My life list is ever-changing, always growing; that’s why I create a yearly list. My 2012 Bucket List included things like fly a jetpack, swim with whale sharks, experience aerobatics in a biplane, and delivery my baby girl.  My 2013 Bucket List is well under way; I’ve already stayed at Grove Park Inn, experienced NBA All Star 2013, and had a spa day. There are 50 items on this year’s list so I have a fun year ahead. Many of my 2013 items and my life list items could be accomplished by winning the Biggest, Baddest Bucket List contest. With 30 days until entries close, I am currently in 2nd place in My Destination’s Biggest, Baddest Bucket List! There is a lot of contest left though and I’d like to remain at the top of the pack going into the next round. I’ve been working hard to maintain my status, gaining interviews with the Cape Breton Post and the Halifax Herald, but I still need your regular votes.

If you’ve been following along for a while, you know my motto: the more unrealistic I am with my dreams and goals, the more I’m able to achieve. Who would have thought that I would have the opportunity to travel around the world this year? This is my chance.

Suggestions from the People that Know Best

Many of you know that I recently entered a contest called the Biggest Baddest Bucket List. The prize is unbelievable. It’s an all-expense-paid trip around the world, $10,000 spending money during the trip, and $50,000 cash when you return home. With over 50,000 followers, I thought I’d have over 1000 votes already but it’s a slow start. I’m currently at 525 votes. So, I’m asking you, my readers who know best, what should I do to encourage more voting?

My thought: I put a challenge out there to you. How many people do you think you can convince to vote? Do you think you can get 5? 10? 25? Put your number below and let me know how it goes. Maybe you have a cool technique that you’d like to share.
