My ten days in Jordan were life-changing. I journeyed to five of my bucket list locations
including Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea, the Red Sea, and Jerash. I hiked, swam, walked, and climbed my way through the country. I rode 4x4s, buses, cars, planes, donkeys, and camels; and I am exhausted. After ten days of being a hyperactive tourist, I want some beach time. This week we are relaxing at Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina in Fort Myers, Florida. My plan is to spend as much time as humanly possible in the pool and on the beach. Forget constant exercise and adventure; I’m ready to relax. Continue reading

What’s Your Greatest Desire?
Daily I think about my greatest desires. What if we lived a life without restrictions? With
unlimited funds, time, resources…. What would you do tomorrow? How would you spend your day? That’s how I try to spend each day. I find out what I want the most and figure out how to make it happen. That’s what life is all about. We are all capable. Continue reading
My Around the World Plan
My philosophy: the more unrealistic I am with my dreams and goals, the more I’m
able to achieve. Since entering the Biggest, Baddest Bucket List contest, I’ve been dreaming about touring around the world and exploring new countries, cultures, and adventures. At first, I didn’t think I’d even enter the contest because I have a new baby, a new home, and we’re living in a new state, and country, but I realized that anything is possible. Trying to win the contest will teach Athena that we don’t have to live a life with restrictions. Continue reading
Ultimate Life Bucket List
Some people create a bucket list because they are dying; I created one because I
want to live!
What’s on your bucket list? You can submit your bucket list or your bucket list adventures to Bucket List Publications or info@bucketlistpublications.com for publication. Share your goals and find inspiration in the accomplishments of others.
The more unrealistic we are with our dreams and goals, the more we’re able to achieve!
My life list is ever-changing, always growing; that’s why I create a yearly list. My 2012 Bucket List included things like fly a jetpack, swim with whale sharks, experience aerobatics in a biplane, and delivery my baby girl. My 2013 Bucket List is well under way; I’ve already stayed at Grove Park Inn, experienced NBA All Star 2013, and had a spa day. There are 50 items on this year’s list so I have a fun year ahead. Many of my 2013 items and my life list items could be accomplished by winning the Biggest, Baddest Bucket List contest. Don’t forget to vote as much as possible. You can vote by clicking here.
Overall, these are the things I’d like to accomplish in my life. I usually choose from these each year and add new ones as I see fit.

Making Bucket List Dreams a Reality
In the last year, I made 8 bucket list dreams come true for my readers. Skydiving,
heli-skiing, piloting a helicopter, driving a NASCAR, riding in a limo, enjoying a spa day, touring wine country, and attending a ballet were all items on the bucket lists of my readers. I found ways to sponsor them or offer their dreams for free. All they needed to do was show up and live a bucket list dream day. This year I hope to do the same for at least 5 more readers. It’s one of the greatest feelings in the world to be able to help others accomplish their dreams. It’s amazing how much what you can do for others actually does for you. Continue reading
Independently Wealthy, Right?
You’re rich, right? You travel around the world at your leisure and don’t worry about a thing.
You don’t have a day job, do you? You’re playing and living and indulging your “bucket list” in luxury. Are you really in need of anything? These are the comments I receive on a regular basis and I’d like to take just one post and one post only to discuss it and then dismiss it because I don’t feel like I need to give it any more of my time. Suggestions from the People that Know Best
Many of you know that I recently entered a contest called the Biggest Baddest Bucket List.
The prize is unbelievable. It’s an all-expense-paid trip around the world, $10,000 spending money during the trip, and $50,000 cash when you return home. With over 50,000 followers, I thought I’d have over 1000 votes already but it’s a slow start. I’m currently at 525 votes. So, I’m asking you, my readers who know best, what should I do to encourage more voting?
My thought: I put a challenge out there to you. How many people do you think you can convince to vote? Do you think you can get 5? 10? 25? Put your number below and let me know how it goes. Maybe you have a cool technique that you’d like to share.
If you put a number like 25 and you accomplish it, I’d love to interview you for the blog! That is some serious social klout and it would be great to share your techniques with my readers. I’m sure thousands, including me, would love to know your secret. Continue reading
